Warranty Coverage
Materials
IQ® Auto Glass™ will repair or replace any defective material within 30 days of the service completion date.
Workmanship
We stand behind the quality of our work with the following warranties:
- Water Leak Protection: As long as you own or lease the vehicle, we guarantee against water leakage.
- Windshield Chip Repair:
- Our chip repair process involves injecting clear resin into the chip to restore structural integrity and prevent spreading.
- While 99% of chip repairs are successful, please note that there is a slight chance the windshield may crack during the procedure. We are not liable for such instances.
Windshield Forward-Facing Camera Recalibration
What We Provide
Our Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) recalibration aligns and tests sensors to ensure features like Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, and other safety systems function accurately.
Disclosures
- Fault Codes: IQ® Auto Glass™ will not proceed if pre-scan diagnostics reveal existing fault codes. We will refer you to a dealership.
- ADAS Camera Only: We recalibrate only cameras located within the windshield.
- Manufacturer Settings: Once recalibration is complete, the system reverts to default settings. Please consult your manual for further details.
Warranty
Coverage lasts 1 year or until the next windshield replacement, whichever comes first.
Used Parts
IQ® Auto Glass™ uses used parts only for side windows, quarter glass, vent glass, and sunroof glass, and only with customer approval if OEM parts are unavailable.
Warranty
Used parts have a limited 30-day workmanship warranty. We recommend you inspect the part prior to installation.
Tempered Glass Replacement
Definition
Tempered glass, known for its strength and heat resistance, is not covered under warranty once installed, as breakage generally requires a strong impact.
Warranty
IQ® Auto Glass™ does not warranty tempered glass once installed and the vehicle has left our facility.
Exclusions
Our warranty does not cover:
- Defective Glass: Customers must report defects within 30 days.
- Water Leakage: Lifetime warranty is only for original owners and is non-transferable.
- Accidental Damage: Damage from collisions, debris, or rust deterioration is excluded.
- Existing Rust or Damage: Prior rust or damage impacting our installation will not be covered.
- Stress Cracks: Cracks due to extreme temperatures or vibrations without impact points are not covered.
Requirements to Claim a Warranty
To claim warranty service, please provide:
- Proof of Service: Your original invoice or receipt
- Scheduled Inspection: Submit a claim for approval through the Warranty Department.
